Vista has proven to be the largest flop Microsoft has had yet! Why would any sane person actually want to "pretend" they jumped on the vista bandwagon?
XP is fine in it's original format. If you want flashy and stable, switch to a MAC. I can't believe I actually said that because I don't like MAC either, although they do make great TV adverts!
Best:
You can pretend that you are a loyal Microsoft customer.
Worst:It will obviously choke your system resources to run as though you are running Vista.
